On Saturday and Sunday, 12th and 13th September 2009, we held our annual Mullet Competion.
The Weather was good, with some fresh easterley winds, that made fishing difficult, but the exception was the tw0 4lb+ fish landed by Damian Brading.
Ten anglers signed on at the club on the Friday night.
Sixteen fish were caught over the two days, but many were returned to live another day, as catch and release is the policy of our club where possible.
The winner was Damina Brading, withhis catch of 4lb 7oz, for the shore this is a specimen fish.
In second place was Martin Keen, with a fish of 3lb 11oz, and Dave Drury came third with a fish of 3lb 1oz.
The prize giving took place in the club house on the Sunday after the weigh in, where a good time was had by all!
